The Micro Enterprise Program of My Sisters Place, London Ont.  is excited to announce our partnership with Prance Design.

About Micro Enterprise

Through the support of My Sisters' Place the Micro Enterprise is a program that supports women that are at a stage where they want to improve their quality of life.

Each of the women start the program by learning the basic jewellery making techniques with our mentors' help. After 3 months they become a Mentor themselves.

through this program women gain skills in life as well. they become empowered and become goal oriented with such goals as housing, family integrations and obtaining jobs in the community.

This program runs on the generous donations of jewellery that is no longer needed or is broken. Volunteers take apart, sort and inventory the donations so we the "Creators" are able to piece together and design exciting one of a kind jewellery for sale.

The Creators receive 80% of the sale and 20% goes back into the collective. They gain independence and a small supplement to their income.

“ As a co-facilitator of the Micro-Enterprise program, it has been a pleasure to watch each artisan progress in confidence and skill.  Each piece of jewelry is a unique expression of their talents and life stories.  The intention and passion that the women of the collective aspire to is truly amazing!  I am honoured to be a part of this rewarding program and the evolvement each journey takes. “ LISA JARVIS, Transitional Support Worker with My Sisters' Place
